Job Description
As a Business Analyst you will be highly flexible, adaptable, and able to apply your skills to many different scenarios in support of both our clients and internally. You will be required to provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice either individually or through leading a team of analysts.
Your responsibilities
- Providing expertise, advice, guidance and support to clients in the field of Business Analysis
- Consulting with clients (either individually or as part of a team) to understand and evaluate the “As-Is” system laydown and business processes, and their future requirements, documenting them in simplified formats to ensure solutions are aligned with the clients’ business needs and budget
- Implementing systems, making recommendations for improvements and creating solutions to meet requirements
- Supporting the design of solutions, particularly through the early lifecycle stages of capture and design, through to implementation, test, and delivery
- Understanding complex solutions, using knowledge of schematic design, product design, architectural modelling, process diagrams, prototype testing, or any other suitable business analyst methods
- Providing insight to the DevOps team with regards to specific components of the solution being delivered, generating system diagrams or architectural views to describe the flow of activity
- Implementing agile delivery methodology and processes, gaining qualifications for relevant agile expertise where required
- Contributing to business development activities and the winning of new client contracts
Experience you’ll need
- The ability to think outside of the box and implement innovative and effective solutions
- Adaptable and capable of overcoming obstacles and managing changing demands
- Strong analytical skills, well versed in evaluating complex problems, assessing requirements, and developing solutions
- Effective communication skills – you’ll need to be able to build relationships with stakeholders, articulate findings, present recommendations, and facilitate discussions
Essential requirements
- UK resident and right to work with (or ability to attain) SC vetting status (or higher)
- Experience utilising agile delivery methodologies and processes
- Willingness to travel to client sites (travel away from office is expensed)
