The Submarine Delivery Authority (SDA) has multiple £billion programmes running concurrently. Our role in this project encompassed PMO MIS management, producing the SDA reporting dashboard for project and programme performance, resolving data problems and if we identified significant issues with programmes, looking at what the causes of these issues were.
The new Submarine Delivery Authority (SDA) Chief Executive (who joined from BAeSystems), was used to consistent performance and issues reporting across projects. In order to deliver what the CEO was used to at BAeSystems, our team and our resources were able to provide similar data.
This role encompassed PMO MIS management, producing the SDA reporting dashboard for project and programme performance, resolving data problems and identifying any significant issues with programmes. We’d also look at the cause of any issue should we identify any.
Our consultant had experience in reporting project erformance in the appropriate format, so we created a suitable dashboard while liaising with all data providers. In addition, our consultant ran a team to process the data and produce the necessary outputs and management reports require for the SDA’s Senior Leadership team.
Our consultant performed so well that they were promoted to a Level 5 post after two years of being defined as a Level 4 in this SDA PMO role.
