Max spent 9 years in the British Army with the latter half working within geospatial intelligence. Here he focused on developing how defence receives and shares intelligence and improving how geospatial data is managed and exploited.
Max has worked in high tempo operational environments, within these he has solved complex problems through understanding the root causes, mitigating risk and ensuring stakeholder engagement. Key to this is his drive to ensure that solutions capture wider enterprise requirements, delivering efficiency and enabling innovation for the broadest audience possible. Max also draws from his experience in the gold mining industry, whereby scientific rigour had to be combined with dynamic decision making.
Max enjoys being outdoors, whether cycling, swimming or running, spending time with his family and cooking, although his culinary expertise is limited to Italian food.
