Job Description

The Administrator role is an internally facing role to help run our consultancy business. It provides support to the Business Manager and enables the business to operate on a daily basis. It supports and enables the entire business and is involved in a diverse range of activities across different disciplines. The role requires someone with administrative experience, who can learn quickly and manage a variety of tasks.

Administrator responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining all company insurances and accreditations, preparing for internal and external audits, and maintaining all records and evidence.
  • Maintaining our company offices, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring the right processes and procedures are always in place.
  • Supporting our financial business processes such as invoicing clients, paying suppliers and monthly payroll.
  • Supporting our social media activity, managing the content planning, liaising with content authors, and posting and interacting with content via LinkedIn.
  • Administering our intranet and SharePoint sites to ensure they provide the information our members need.
  • Supporting broader business processes including supplier management.
  • Assisting in HR functions such as onboarding, maintaining employee records, and managing time and attendance.
  • Scheduling meetings, taking minutes and arranging conferences and events.

Requirements and skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational skills.
  • IT literate with good typing skills and confident using a range of programmes including email, word processors, presentations and spreadsheets.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise their workload effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues.
  • Able to work with a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively.
  • Handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality.

This role may require security vetting and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.
